Empty nail polish bottles

So in my DIY cuticle oil post I talk about how I brought 6 empty nail polish bottles form digiflex on trade me, each with 6ml volume. Which is small but as it turns out just the right size for what I want.
The bottles that I got are hart shaped so are narrowest at the bottom, which makes sense to me so you waste as little product as possible. The bottles are also reasonably flat so you can easily stick a sticker on the front for a label.

DIY cuticle oil

So I’m scraping out the bottom of my bottle of my Orly color care cuticle and need to replace it. However I didn’t really want to buy more. I had heard that coconut oil was good for nails and so did some googling and found this recipe from saynotsweetann (http://saynotsweetanne.com/2012/diy-cuticle-oil-free-printable/) for a DIY cuticle oil and thought that sounds good, I’ll give it a go.

So when I got my Instagram account I was going to post daily until I had posted all my previous manicures and then post weakly after that when I did my new manicure of the week.

December nail art challenge

I decided to take part in the December nail art challenge hosted by rose_nailpolish and nailsby_bridget on Instagram and it was so much fun.

Dec 1st - snowman

As I live in the southern hemisphere December is the first month of summer so this felt a bit wrong to me but I put a summer twist on this and I think it’s cute although the snowman doesn’t look as melted as I wanted him to.
